Case Study – Food Distributor, CA


Description of Facility: Large Food Distribution Facility with over 50,000 square ft. of warehouse storage, and wholesale floor space

Test Period: December 17, 2011 – January 17, 2012

Testing Methodology: Devices were turned on and off on alternating days (1 Day On/1 Day Off) over the test period. Energy consumption was monitored over the entire test period with kWh, Volts, Amps, and Watts, recorded in 30 minute increments.

Number of Units Installed: Two (2) SP1000A, Three (3) SP1000E

Test Results: 15% decrease in kilowatt (kWh) consumption and 25% decrease in demand (kW) cost
